More sustainable food and agriculture offers one of our best means of reversing climate change and environmental degradation while improving health and livelihoods around the world. However, complex transformations require unprecedented partnerships, including between private sector players who may be more used to competing, and with non-corporate actors like NGOs.  Join our discussion to find out what are the lessons learned from partnerships that are already driving significantly different results at scale and priorities for enabling more such action.


Jenny Davis-Peccoud

Sustainability Practice Founder, Bain & Company

Jenny Davis-Peccoud founded Bain global Sustainability & Responsibility practice in 2011 and led it for over a decade. Beyond broad expertise in ESG, Jenny has a particular focus on food systems transformation, circularity, biodiversity, and carbon transition. Throughout 30 years at Bain, Jenny has advised local and multinational corporate clients across a wide range of industries, as well as international trade associations, government ministries, public bodies and global NGOs, notably in sustainability strategies and sustainable value creation. Jenny writes and speaks extensively: her perspectives have been published in newspapers across the world, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Le Monde, NRC Handelsblad and The Business Times of Singapore, as well as in publications such as Harvard Business Review, European Business Forum, the Stanford Social Innovation Review, or Forbes.

Abanti Sankaranarayanan leads Group Public Affairs (India & international), Group Sustainability and Group Risk & Economist functions at Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. She is also a member of the Group Executive Board. Prior to joining Mahindra, she was Head of the Strategy and Corporate Affairs function at Diageo India and a member of its Executive Committee. Max DuBuisson

VP and Head Sustainability Policy & Engagement, Indigo

Max Dubuisson, as VP and Head of Sustainability Policy and Engagement, is driving forward strategic engagement with external partners and engaging with corporate customers for sustainability solutions. He's been critical to Indigo's Field Flex programs, giving farmers maximum value and flexibility for their sustainable practices, and ensuring these can be delivered through myriad partners. Prior to joining Indigo, he was Policy Director at the Climate Action Reserve. He is an expert and thought leader on the development and implementation of rigorous offset project protocols, developing many key policy and technical approaches that underpin the voluntary and compliance offset markets in North America.

Berry Marttin

Berry Marttin became a member of the Managing Board of Rabobank on July 1, 2009. His main areas of focus are Wholesale & Rural, Leasing (DLL), Rabo Partnerships, Global F&A knowledge, Networks & Strategy, and Carbon Bank.

Rob Cameron

Vice President Global Head of Public Affairs and ESG Engagement, Nestlé

Since February 2020, Rob Cameron has been Global Head of Public Affairs at Nestlé SA. Most recently, he was Chief Executive of sustainability strategy consultancy and think tank SustainAbility, now part of the ERM Group. His interest in and experience of sustainable development issues led to his involvement in many organizations in the sustainability arena, including BITC and AccountAbility. He was elected a Fellow of the RSA in 1998, and appointed a UK Prince of Wales’ Ambassador for Corporate Responsibility in June 2007.

Diane Holdorf

Executive Vice President Pathways, WBCSD

Ms Diane B. Holdorf is Executive Vice President (EVP) and a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), based in Geneva, Switzerland. Diane joined WBCSD in December 2018 as Managing Director of Food and Nature where she led business efforts to accelerate the system transformation in the areas of food, nature and water. In October 2021, Diane took the role of EVP for Pathways. In her role as EVP, Diane focuses on the Pathways as part of WBCSD’s strategy, leading business efforts to accelerate collaborative solutions in Food and Agriculture, Energy, Products & Materials, Mobility and Built Environment, and Health and Wellbeing – working in partnership to deliver business solutions for the Imperatives and Redefining Value Program pillars. Before joining WBCSD, Diane was Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at Kellogg.

Murilo Parada

CEO Brazil and Global Chief Sustainability Officer, Louis Dreyfus Company

Murilo Parada is Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Region for North Latin America at Louis Dreyfus Company. He first joined the Group as a Trainee in 2001, working initially to set up our Cotton Platform in Brazil, and later moved to the Juice Platform, serving as Commercial Director for Brazil until 2010. He transferred to Beijing in 2011 as General Manager for Juice Operations in Asia, returning to Brazil in 2013 as a Commercial Director for Biosev S.A. He later served as Head of Juice for North Latin America and then Global Head of Juice, until taking up his present responsibilities. Murilo holds an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
